MOUNTING OPTION
Option 1 (Permanent):
MPU was designed with screw holes (65mm spacing) for a secure, permanent installation. For those looking to repurpose, it fits perfectly as a replacement for the vintage ashtray, utilizing existing screw attachment points.
Installation method is not approved for certified aircraft. 
 
Option 2 (Removable):
With the three axis Hanger Attachment (PN: CCLP-65-A)*, the MPU will clip on to various side moldings.  Has been test fitted on Cessna 182's and 172's.
Recommended for certified aircraft. 
 
*Hanger Attachment (PN: CCLP-65-A)
MPU hanger attachment(CCLP-65-A) is unique to the aviation market allowing for a custom fit(3 axis) to your side moldings.  2.5" in vertical travel and slightly over 1"(1.7" min - 2.8" max width) of horizontal clip adjustment for molding attachment point. Horizontal clip even rotates allowing for those side moldings with a taper.

Things to consider! 
  • Verify your configuration has adequate room around your ashtray and that hole spacing between ashtray screws matches dimensions shown.  
  • Verify measurements prior to placing order. (See photos for measurements)
  • If mounting with hanger, verify horizontal clearance to molding.
